Lofi is the sound of the modern café. Ours is written by two brothers, has no vocals and no samples, and is licensed for cafés and restaurants through MassiveMusic, formerly Songtradr.
The short answer
Can I play Spotify in my coffee shop?
Not on a personal account. Spotify's terms, like Apple Music's and YouTube's, cover private, non-commercial listening. A café where customers can hear the music is a public space, so the music playing there needs a commercial license.
For our music, that license comes from MassiveMusic. It is issued for your café specifically and covers both the recording and the composition, because we own both. No label, no publisher, no sample owner to clear.

The usual questions
I run one small independent café. Is this overkill?
No. A single-location license is a normal MassiveMusic request. Tell them the one address and how long you want it for.
What does the license actually cover?
The use you describe: your café, your territory, your term. Because we own both the recording and the composition, the one license covers our music end to end. If you add locations later, ask MassiveMusic to extend it.
Do we need to credit you?
No. If you want to put a small card by the register saying what is playing, we will not stop you, but nothing is required.
Can we hear it in the room first?
Yes. Everything is on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. Put Strictly Lofi on for a morning rush and see how it sits before you open a quote.
Does this also cover a restaurant or bar?
Yes, the same in-store license type applies. Tell MassiveMusic every space you want covered when you request the quote.
